About me
Hi, I’m Paula, founder of Cassley Office Solutions, or COS for short (and yes, the name’s a bit of a pun… COS we care!).
I’ve spent years supporting third sector organisations and businesses across the Highlands; writing successful grant applications, sorting out bookkeeping systems, creating clear-as-day spreadsheets, and generally being that go-to person when you need a hand (or a gentle nudge) to get organised.
At COS, it’s all about keeping things simple, supportive and straightforward. You don’t need jargon or flash, you need clarity, kindness, and someone who’ll stick with you until the job’s done right.

Getting to Grips with the Accounts
A CIC manager had taken on responsibility for the day-to-day finances but had never used an accounts system before. Over three months, I worked alongside her to build her confidence, creating a handbook written specifically for how her organisation used the system, and working through it with her step by step. By the end, she was running the accounts independently and understood what she was looking at.
Securing Funding for a Development Trust
A rural development trust needed support to put together a funding application but didn’t have the capacity to write it themselves. I took on the application in full, pulling together the narrative, the budget and the supporting information needed to make a strong case. The funding was secured.
Director Finance Training for a Development Trust
A development trust board wanted to feel more confident about their financial responsibilities but weren’t sure where to start. I ran a hands-on training session designed around their organisation, using practical exercises to walk directors through what their role involves when it comes to finances and how to read and interpret the reports they receive. By the end of the session, directors felt clear on what they were looking at and what questions to ask.
